Posting Detail Information

Job Summary/Basic Function Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive and coordinate prompt and thorough investigations.
  • Facilitate and ensure regular meetings of the Deputy Title IX Coordinators on campus.
  • Track and provide analysis of complaints and investigations to aid in prevention programing.
  • Ensure that the university community has current Title IX training and information.
  • Prepare and disseminate educational materials, including brochures, posters, and web-based materials that inform members of the campus community of Title IX rights and responsibilities, to the campus community.
  • Coordinate training for students about their rights under Title IX and grievance procedures.
  • Coordinate in-service training to all employees concerning Title IX policy.
  • Review and recommend the revision, as needed, of relevant university policies and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years’ experience in conduct or compliance administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of:
    - Title IX
    - Investigatory protocols
    - State and federal public records laws
    - EEO laws
    - Government regulations
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to write reports, summaries, and proposals using multiple sources
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    - Diffuse and successfully manage sensitive, stressful conflict situations in a professional, respectful manner
    - Organize and track multiple projects
    - Meet deadlines with attention to accuracy and detail
    - Handle confidential information and documentation
    - Work successfully with diverse faculty, staff and students
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Successful interview and three clear background checks: Criminal Background Check (Act 34); Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151); and FBI Federal Criminal History-Fingerprinting (Act 114)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Law Degree or Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Human Resources, or closely related field
  • Title IX Certification
  • Five years’ experience in policy development and administration
  • Experience developing and presenting training workshops for faculty, staff and students
  • Demonstrable working experience in higher education, particularly with Title IX compliance and investigations, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and risk management concerns
