Job Summary/Basic Function

The Department of Psychology at times needs temporary, part-time instructors to fill in for faculty on sabbaticals or leaves. In the past, typical assignments for temporary, part-time instructors have included General Psychology, Human Adjustment, Abnormal Psychology,Behavior Modification, Counseling Strategies, Statistics and Experimental Design I, and Statistics and Experimental Design II.

In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Psychology. Evidence of ability to successfully teach students of diverse populations. Successful interview, teaching demonstration and three successful background checks: Act 34 (Criminal Record Check); Act 114 (FBI Federal Criminal History-Fingerprinting); and Act 151 (Child Abuse History Clearance).

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate.
